Tools for Winter

What a start to 2022. How is your heart? How is your spirit? How is your physical suit doing? We started this month collectively in so much fear, scarcity, and perhaps a bit of anxiety. What I can tell you is that your rituals, your practices of taking care of your heart, your spirit, and your physical body, matter most right now. The world, in this time, is calling each person to really upgrade and refine how you take care. The soul and the human body, are incredibly adaptable, so adapt to a level of highest order for you in this lifetime.

Here are some ideas:

Heart: Call an old friend and have an authentic conversation of what’s been going on in your life, don’t be scared to show weakness, perfectionism is outdated. Give your partner or a friend a hug from your heart, hold them close and really take in their presence. Allow yourself to journal, write about something that has been hurting your heart. Then find solutions to your heart healing. Get a new pet. Call someone elderly and alone. Be there for someone else. Spend time with family, even if it’s on zoom.

Spirit: Daily Prayer. Light a candle everyday for the world. Connect to your higher self in the morning. Meditate. Practice gratitude (we like to keep a jar in the house where every day we write something we are grateful for, at the end of the month we spend time reading them all, and we start again). Communicate with your angels, your ancestors, ask for guidance. Focus on breath work. Spend time in nature, be really present. Talk to a therapist or healer. Forgive someone. Cut chords, change a pattern. Do something you’ve been scared to do. Surrender to a higher power daily and do what lights you up! Get some alone time to recharge your spirit daily. Listen to music. Create something new, art, music, a project, etc.

Physically: Eat well, drink lots of water daily with lemon. Take your supplements. Ground in the earth, yes, even if that means going out in the snow. Get some sunlight. Exercise but be easy on the body, do something that brings you joy. Walk daily. Do some dry brushing for your lymph body. See an acupuncturist, massage therapist, chiropractor, etc. Take cold showers. Breath work daily. Get a red light for your bedroom. Get into a sauna. Eat foods that make you feel healthy and great. Go to sleep earlier, turn off electronics, if your sensitive to EMF, turn the wifi off at night. Get stones to clear physical ailments. Practice affirmations of health. Get some oxytocin, you know how to get it! Rest, rest, rest, it’s winter, have warm nourishing foods, and get cozy.

Here’s the hardest part. It’s hard to measure the progress you can make from incorporating new practices in the invisible world. The ego will make you doubt that any of your tools work. Why? Because you can’t see the results and our world is built on the superficial, the fast, quick fixes. Seeing your progress requires you to feel, to use your intuition, and move through layers of fear. So please commit to a routine anyways, I believe in you.

And if you have a routine, shake it up, add something new in, something that perhaps you feel resistant to, that’s where the breakthrough happens. I would love to support you in your new routine, so please let me know if you need any support.
